What the listed rents tell you, and what they don’t.

They’re a starting point, not a quote. A listed lot rent tells you roughly where a park sits. It doesn’t tell you what the rent includes, or what you’d pay if you moved in next month. Three kinds of listing appear in the table:

A lot rent the park entered on its MHVillage page. MHVillage doesn’t show when it was entered, so it may be out of date.
MHVillage home-for-sale listing
The lot rent that goes with one home for sale. Other lots in the same park may rent for a different amount.

  • What does lot rent include?

    Water, sewer, trash, snow removal and street upkeep are included at some parks and billed separately at others. Two equal rents can be very different months.

  • How has lot rent changed, and how will you tell me?

  • What are the written screening criteria and fees?

    Ask for the criteria in writing before you apply, and ask about any application fee and the security deposit.

  • Which homes will you accept?
